KEEPERS OF THE LAND AT SOVEREIGN SANTA FE
Keepers Of The Land is a multimedia collaborative exhibit featuring contemporary Native American artists from Oklahoma. This exhibit explores the rich and deep-rooted connection between Indigenous people and the lands we live upon. This exhibit incorporates the spiritual, physical and emotional connection of the land between past, present and future generations. Curated by Carly Treece (Muscogee/Cherokee) and Tvlse Studios.
LEGACY OF THE EARTH: BRIAN TAAFFE-CORDOVA AND MATTHEW MADISON ROWE EXPO
This exhibition features work by painter Brian Taaffe-Cordova and ceramicist Matthew Madison Rowe. The two artists have been friends and making art together since they were teenagers. Although their work is visually dissimilar, they share in the essential message of giving a voice to the earth. Both artists fall into the category of Symbolism because each work manifests as a unique symbol of humanity’s connection to the Earth. Taken together this art shows how the message can transcend the medium.

Larry Littlebird (Laguna/ Santo Domingo Pueblo) is a strong Native voice in his multi-faceted work as a master storyteller, filmmaker, artist, author and social activist. His signature experiential land based programs have had a profound impact on people’s lives, globally, nationally and locally. Learning to Listen© is a provocative spoken word experience that Littlebird presents as a keynote speaker and custom tailors for group retreats and conferences. The mediums he works with are acrylic paint, oil paint, pencil, ink, leather, and photography. His main focus is "Traditional, Western, Contemporary art." Mr. Antonio is not only a talented artist, but also a hard working cowboy/horseman, and an empathetic humanitarian.
